Travel Centers of America Inc. is the nation’s largest publicly traded full-service travel center network. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Westlake, Ohio, its more than 19,000 team members serve guests in over 280 locations in 44 states, principally under the TA®, Petro Stopping Centers® and TA Express® brands. Offerings include diesel and gasoline fuel, truck maintenance and repair, full-service and quick-service restaurants, travel stores, car and truck parking and other services dedicated to providing great experiences for its guests. TA operates over 600 full-service and quick-service restaurants and nine proprietary brands, including Iron Skillet® and Country Pride®.

The Problem

TCA used Nakisa’s on-premise SLAN solution to manage their leases and comply with reporting standards. However, Nakisa’s move to a cloud-exclusive solution coupled with end of support for the on-premise version led to TCA searching for an alternative.

SAP CLM was an obvious solution for TCA’s problem, and it could serve almost as a drop-in replacement for SLAN.

Our SLAN-CLM migration tool is designed to extract data from SLAN and convert it into a format that can then be easily imported into SAP using the CLM Contract Upload program, which is also part of Bramasol’s migration suite.
