Role – SAP RAR Managing Consultant

Position Overview:

As a Managing Consultant, you will assist Bramasol’s Professional Services team in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing experience in leading practices, methods, and resources in the space of transforming the Office of the Chief Finance Officer (CFO). The successful Managing Consultant will work with and through Bramasol’s Professional Service team to assist clients with a variety of needs. The goal is to support our consultants as they build their individual skills and work to facilitate their client-facing efforts by continuously improving their effectiveness and delivery efficiency. To meet that objective, you will be empowered to influence, design, and implement key strategic growth and operational excellence initiatives.

Ideally, you’ll also have an advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Operations or superior academic achievement in a related field or CPA. Primary duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in professional service delivery and achieving client satisfaction.

  • Manage, sustain, and evolve your capabilities as an SAP advisory consultant.

  • Support Bramasol’s Professional Services team by providing business development assistance, and as needed, managing project teams through agreed upon phases of project governance, requirements definition, solution design and build, risk analysis, customization, testing and training.

  • Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate Bramasol in assigned solution area. These are shared with all Bramasol market facing organizations to provide consistency and common platforms with which to go to market.

  • Provide broad functional knowledge of all key SAP modules.

  • Team with client business and technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances.

  • Demonstrate quality project execution and delivery by successfully monitoring project/program team economics, performance against the job arrangement and budget, and proactively adjust scope, timing, and resources as appropriate and if necessary.

  • Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team. Delegate work successfully. Conduct timely performance reviews and provide performance feedback/training. Lead by example.

  • Generate new business opportunities by thoroughly understanding Bramasol and its service offerings and actively assessing and presenting ways to apply knowledge and services.

  • Manage and supervise a team of advisory professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing.

  • Interact and communicate effectively with finance and technology senior and middle management executives.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • 6 – 8 years working within SAP FICO and SD modules with excellent understanding of ECC and/or S4 ERP solutions.

  • Understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of global business processes, including but not limited to Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment.

  • Understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of data management, governance, stewardship and migration as they relate to enterprise application and/or analytical/reporting platforms.

  • Strong work ethics and demonstrate leadership qualities.

  • Understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of product/solution lifecycle management, marketing, and sales.

  • Strong presentation skills to clients or business owners.

  • Understanding of industry regulatory and statutory compliance concepts and application to financial functions within a business.

  • Understand the key impacts of compliance ASC/IFRS requirements as it relates to client business requirements and solution architecture

  • Collaborative, resourceful, innovative, and engaging presence.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a master’s degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience.

  • A degree in computer science, accounting, finance or a related field (MBA or MS degree preferred).

  • 5-7 years of experience working with SAP, as well as 2-3 full life cycle implementations (or equivalent experience) required.

  • Experience executing a business blueprint and documenting business requirements that can be understood by a technical process team.

  • Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering, and project management methodology experience required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise finance with technology skills.

  • Prior consulting experience and a demonstrated history of driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the “C” level of Fortune 500 companies

  • Ability to lead a team of consulting professionals on multiple projects

  • A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated to be 70–90%

  • A valid US driver’s license and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally.
